Chopping Board
Service Description
Two-week workshop | 3 hours per week | 6 hours total Join us at Women’s Shed Aotearoa for a hands-on, creative workshop where you’ll learn how to transform reclaimed timber into a beautiful, practical chopping board for your kitchen. Over two consecutive weeks, you’ll discover the satisfaction of working with wood, learn basic woodworking skills, and give new life to timber. With guidance and support, you’ll work through the process of selecting and preparing suitable timber, shaping and assembling your chopping board, and finishing it to create a unique, functional piece. No previous woodworking experience is necessary - just a willingness to give it a go and enjoy learning something new in a friendly, supportive environment. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have developed new practical skills, connected with other women, and created a one of a kind chopping board to take home and enjoy. **workshops must meet minimum numbers to go ahead
