Service Description
Bookings for the next round open Monday 1st June 2026 Take your skills to the next level & challenge yourself with a more complex project! In this workshop you will follow a plan to build either a bedside table, coffee table or planter box, sharpening the skills you learnt in intro to tools. These projects take a high level of accuracy to ensure all the parts fit well together and will give you even more confidence in your ability to measure, cut and join timber! This is a 2 hour workshop, once a week which will run for a period of 5 weeks. Please Note: If you have experience on the tools already and want to jump straight into this course, please get in touch so we can discuss your experience before booking if not, you must have completed the 'Intro to Tools' workshop before signing up for this one.

Cancellation Policy

The following terms outline our booking and cancellation conditions. Bookings All bookings must be made through our website or approved booking channels. A booking is confirmed once full payment has been received, unless otherwise stated. Spaces in our workshops are limited to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment. We encourage early booking to avoid disappointment. Cancellations and Refunds We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to balance flexibility for participants with the need to plan and deliver quality programmes. Cancellations made more than seven days prior to the scheduled workshop or event will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within seven days of the workshop or event are non-refundable. Transferring Bookings If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person at no additional cost. Please notify us in advance with the name and contact details of the person attending in your place. In some cases, and at our discretion, we may allow a transfer to a future workshop date, depending on availability. Event Changes or Cancellations by Women’s Shed On rare occasions, we may need to reschedule or cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, participants will be offered: A full refund, or The option to transfer to a future session We will communicate any changes as early as possible.
